What makes the Tamron work for me despite it's size and weight is it's astounding IQ for a zoom lens with it's range. If Samyang can make a lens that can equal the quality in all ares and be smaller lighter and cheaper that would be quite something but I doubt they will be able to equal the Tamron in all respects
