Unless the anticipated “a9iii” is the a1 II, I strongly believe we will get some features with a firmware update. If the a1 II is coming in a year or so, Sony can’t leave us alone while canon and Nikon release new firmwares every 2-3 months. Even the older canon R5 is still being updated.
