Re: First licensed(?) 3rd party Canon RF lens(es?) to be announced at CP+ Fe...

I was speculating a 35/2 or 50/2 myself, but it turns out they will announce a 50/1.0 NOKTON:
https://www.canonrumors.com/cosina-will-announce-a-nokton-50mm-f1-aspherical-for-the-rf-mount/

Focal : 50mm
Maximum aperture: 1:1
Minimum aperture: f/16
Lens configuration: 7 groups 9 elements
Angle of view: 48.0°
Number of diaphragm blades: 12
MFD: 0.45m
Maximum shooting magnification: 1:6.9
Maximum diameter x total length: 79.3×64.0mm
Filter size: 67mm
Weight: 650g
Lens hood: Dedicated screw-in hood included
Aperture ring: Equipped (manual aperture)
Electronic contacts: Available
Exif information: Correspondence
Other: Selective Aperture Control System

Source of the above specs: https://www.cosina.co.jp/news/cp2023-reference-exhibit/

It follows the same optical formula as the Z-mount version and the VM-mount version.Too bad no Apo Lanthar just yet....

Price is not shown yet, but if they follow the E-mount and Z-Mount versions, it could be around 1799 euro's.

EDIT: if I look at the original picture, they've gone for a Canon-RF like focusing ring :https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/edit/message/16176070

Too bad they seem to have chosen a Canon RF style focusing ring...The classic Voigtlander focusing ring is sooooo good (yes, I'm saying it: better than Zeiss focusing rings )....
Makes one wonder: is the design/appearance of this lens part of agreements between Cosina and Canon, or is its design fully decided by Cosina themselves?
