Rob, I really don't know what's bothering you so? If you don't like a particular editing program,. then don't use it. Nobody will start a flaming war. No one here can tell if you will like Lightroom and stick with it. Out any other program for that matter. Why ask? Just shoot with whatever camera you want to and use whatever editor you want. Try a few. Make your own decision. It's not life and death.
