I can sort of understand how a complicated digital camera like an M10r may have an issue. But for what is basically a stone age simple film camera that has been made in various forms for over 100 years now to not get the most basic things right?

If the kindergartners assembling plastic disposable cameras in China are getting it right, how can the trained adult professionals at Leica not? Is it because their fingers are too big?


That and the 6 weeks is also pretty unacceptable IMHO. Why can that not be 2-3 weeks like with any other company?


When the AF failed on my F6, Nikon repaired it in five days.

Tamron does it in 3 days on what is considered a low price leader brand.


I was trying to be not too demanding... ... but yes, I fully agree.
