The number of reports I am reading about problems in new Leica cameras and the length of time it takes to rectify the problems is a bit disturbing. It causes me to question QC at Leica, and its commitment to keeping the premium priced Leica products a premium experience for its customers.
In my opinion a premium priced product should be backed by the company in a way that should you receive a defective copy, or one that fails in the first 90 days, Leica should have stock held to replace within 24 hours, and send it out by overnight delivery.
Premium means much more than fancy stores, and fancy packaging....
