Pics from a family hike around Planinsko polje - a karst meadow/field, that has got a meandering rivef Unica, that goes underground at the edge of this field and when it rains heavily will turn this field into a lake. These meanders are nice to see from Planina Mountain rising above it on one side. On the other side of the filed there are ruins of an old Haasberg castle. From there on a clear day one can see Slovenia`s highest peak Triglav (the last photo). A lot to take from a single day trip, wouldn`t you say?
