Got my first copy (albeit for Z) after many years of deliberation, curious if you guys and gals see quite a bit of CA with it wide open in sunlight. I've been waiting to pair this lens with an e-shutter camera capable of very fast shutter speeds so I can essentially use it wide open in all conditions. Notice the lettering on the building is completely fringed.

I'm also curious if adding a mist filter might dampen the CA (was planning on doing it regardless, but seems like some folks in here are doing it too).

CA is quite normal at f/1.2. It's not as bad at 1.4 or 1.7 though. I find it easily correctable in Lightroom, and often embrace it as part of the look.
I didn't get my Mist filter to reduce CA. I'll have to look through my photos to see if it makes a difference. I'm out out tomorrow night and will probably take the CV40 with me.

I actually started following a guy on Flickr just the other day that's using a CV40 on a Nikon Z6 and shoots almost exclusively wide open. It's fun to see these developments.
