I believe Mark Smith has been using equipment made by Pro Media Gear. Their gimbals and tripods are among the best you can buy. I have been fortunate over the last few years to shoot with one of the owners several times. Last January we spent a week in Minnesota at Sax-Zim Bog. I currently use a Pro Media Gear carbon fiber tripod and the Katana Jr Gimbal. I also have their replacement foot for the Sony 200-600. Top-notch stuff and great guys to work with.
