Thanks Dan, and yes, these are challenge coins, making 180 right now and probably another 200 over the next few months. Have made quite a few for the F15 drivers, pilots and their crew as well. These are all to give away as a token of my appreciation for what these military folks do for us and this country. Of course, I might charge then a pix or two.
.
Wasn't that you that asked about a F4 coin Dan ?

I may have Bill! I posted a photo of a hometown friend who lived the dream of most young boys, that of being a fighter jet pilot.
Ron flew F4's out of Thailand into North Vietnam after my 2 year tour, 1967-1969.

But some of my close air support came from his unit in my time period also.
I must post a shot I took inside of Laos( I never said that) of a F4 bombing run to help extract a "Bright Light" operation pilot.
Thanks!
Dan

2 shots from an air strike in Laos on an Operation "BrightLights" extraction)
1) My "confirmation" that airstike had been observed by my team
2) FAC photo of that air strike for the pilot extraction, via a Maguire rig, from a Huey. We had to "hoof" it back on foot.

The photos are piss poor due to the Instamatic we used in the field...if it survived the heat and humidity. The camera would but the film would get mold after a few hours unless in a "baggie". And they were not invented yet I believe!

These are just FYI for those here on MA2A that are patriots.
