Got home from Atlantic City last night. We stayed at the Tropicana, what a mistake! It's just too big and the layout is very confusing. Took forever to find out how to get to the garage from the where our tower was, same thing for finding the exit to go to the beach. I am a deplorable country boy. I would have probably found my way around if we had stayed there for more than one night. Anyway, the airshow was just OK, not enough performers to fill in the time. Will post some pictures when I get around to delete (that takes a lot of my time) and edit the keepers.
Dan, Andrews officially added new flyby: F-22, F-35B (a first for me), B-1, B-2, in addition to the TB and F-35A demos. Supposedly they will have the B-24, B-25 and B-29 flyby too. I think this lineup will be the best one I will have ever been to after the 60 or so shows I have gone to in the past 12 years. I am so ready for this!
That would be quite a show to see, us west coasters don't get quite the show the east coast does.
Still have some good subjects here tho.
Heading to Whidbey Island to NASWI F-18 Base for pixs, hanging out there for 3 days, long eight hour drive tho, one way. Working on coins for them and some Phantom coins as well ...Have a glider, low runway pass and air to air shoot coming up as well next month.
Some beautiful shots in the last couple pages!
Bill, based on my observation, Florida shows usually have very good lineups. Mid Atlantic region where I am, usually have decent lineups but nothing close to what they are showing at Andres next month. It may have something to to with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the USAF.
Some shots of props from yesterday.
