It's definitely real. When using live view (LCD or EVF) + focus magnification, the image is now stabilized. It's not perfect and sometimes I see a jello effect but it works quite well stabilizing the subject, especially at the highest magnification. How did you test once magnified ? Digital Zoom on, does 1.3x or 1.8x after to see the effect ?
This is not related to digital zoom. It works when rotating the focusing ring on the lens (auto magnification) or by using a custom button to get focus magnification. (x3 or x6)
Thank you. I've been trying this with the 90AA but somehow I guess I can't detect the effect. I'm blaming it on Covid Fog. Caught my first Covid adventure about a month ago....and have been riding that excuse hard.
