I'm utilizing the R5C more these days just to get familiar with it.The idea that one changes from stills to video with the flip of a switch is kind of an over simplification. Setting either camera up to do quality video, unless you happen to be in the perfect lighting situation, requires a minimum of putting on a variable ND filter, and if one really wants to do it right, a rig of some sort and an external monitor recorder. I was shooting yesterday with the R5C and I thought that I'd get a quick video clip, switched over to the cinema mode and found myself having to shoot at a shutter speed of 1250 at iso 100 in order to get a decent exposure.

I'm thinking about configuring the "C" for video, fully decked out, including a V Mount battery and the Ninja V+ and using it solely for video. Even if you have all that stuff sitting in the case with the camera, it takes 20 minutes or so to bolt it all up and configure it.
