Wombat in the wild. Even though I could get very close to this wombat, it is wild and this particular area has quite a number that are used to humans and will allow you to get quite close to them, some even allowing you to pat them. However, you don't want to get in their way if they decide to charge you as they are basically a solid ball of muscle and as tough as nails. If you hit one with you car on the road at speed you will likely write your car off, neither the car or the wombat will be repairable!
