Rodolfo, it would have been my honor to meet you in person at Jones Beach, and thank you for your thoughts of offering the VIP ticket. I was about 40' to the left of the lifeguard tower in the center, facing the water. I set up my beach wagon and chair about 30' from the water on a slightly elevated spot. At times I was still blocked by peoples' heads. I think the shower center was actually slightly to the right of the lifeguard tower. By the time I realized this it was too much a hassle to move. If I go again next year, I know where to setup.
Battle Creek, Michigan will have a very good show at the end of June and early July. That one may be doable for me, still 600 miles one way. They will have a twilight & night air show (not military aircraft obviously) that could be interesting. I have never been to one of these. Any suggestions for shooting night time show will be greatly appreciated!
