30FPS and spray and pray That is how I manage to get a few bug catches. Of course it is always when they radically change direction that they go for the bug so it is usually a bit of luck if I can pan up/down fast enough and in the correct direction.

Well, I almost got one this morning. I was at 20 FPS, if I had set it at 30 FPS, I could have gotten better shots of the swallow catching the bug. 8000 ISO and very heavily cropped, even Topaz cold only do so much.
