Session 2 of developing my on film. This time it was two rolls of Potsdam Kino. Having grown up in Germany, not too far from Potsdam actually, I had bought this film rather impulsively fully expecting it to be a gimmick film. Two rolls previous rolls developed by the lab came back full of defects in the highlights, and I had initially assumed that the film was at fault. Now that I have started developing my own film, I put that hypothesis to the test, and I can confidently say that I was wrong, the film is fine, the defects probably came from the lab, most likely drying marks.
Roll 074: Potsdam Kino in GW690II, developed for 10 minutes in DD-X, 1:9 in Simma Sine wave roller. I took the development times from the massive dev chart for 1:4, added 50% to the dev time for the change in concentration, subtracted 20% for the constant agitation, and subtracted another minute because my solution was at 22C, not 20C.
