Jim,

That Texas like weather has been up here too; we are getting our own shed like experiences! Yesterday I was up on the roof securing shingles in SE's of 30 with gust to 45........................ Limited the damage and today since it is calm I get to go up and repair as much of it as I can before the next blows on Wed & Thur. It has really been a windy year up here! Roof should have been fine except the tabs on the shingles never sealed when new; we bought the house 10 yrs ago and have been chasing the issue ever since.

At least the roof is a nice gentle 4X12 pitch and not hard to get on. I need to limp it along just another year, 2 max till the we do the deck project that will likely include a covered deck. That is the only reason to not replace that 20 yr old roof now. Between add in's like this that come up randomly and the Honey Do list I just don't seem to be making a lot of progress on other aspects of life; like photography. Did some stuff last month I need to post; that College Snowmobile Change work I have done in the past. Shot some nice work but just haven't posted it yet.

Take Care All,
Dan

I was up on my porch gable repairing a shingle that folded over in the wind. It is up at the top under the ridge caps. I had replaced the shingle under that one a month ago in our last wind storm. It blew off completely. The wind returned today and the shingle is staying put...so far! Tired of getting there!
