I'm loving using the Nikon 500 PF with Fringer Pro adapter on my X-T3. AF is blazing fast and accurate with excellent tracking. Even when the Nikon 1.7x TC is used.

Very nice pictures with high IQ, well done! I am glad the Fuji/Nikon combo works so good for you, also with the 1,7x converter! Do you think it is much better than your Sigma 150-600?

This get me thinking! My Canon 400/4 DO II with and without 1,4x is wonderful with the Fringer adapter on X-T3/T4. But sometimes I would like something longer and my Cannon/Fuji combo does not work with 2x (no AF). If I buy the Nikon 500 PF with both 1,4x and 1,7x I will cover
- F4 400mm
- F5,6 500mm and 560mm
- F8 700mm
- F9,5 850mm

As an alternativ, we will get a new Fuji zoom 150-600mm which will probably work with 1,4x. Zooms usually is not as long as it says on shorter distances, so let us guess it is in practice 560mm. F-stop is unknown but probably not better than 6,3, so this will get us up to
-F6,3 560mm
-F9 785mm

Hm....it's good to have the flexibility of a zoom but the weight will probably be much more than the 500PF. And the IQ?

The 500 PF has much better contrast and is sharper and AF more accurate, particularly when TCs are used. The Sigma 150-600 C is good and always produces good enough sharpness yet many images require sharpening to look there best while many would be happy with the sharpness that comes out of the 500 PF with no processing.

I expect Fuji's 150-600 will be f5.6 just like everyone eases and weigh about 5 Lbs. Will they put fast enough motors on the lens to do birds in flight with a TC? We will find out. I expect sigma to announces there now sport in Fuji mount shortly after Fuji announces.

I agree, all these options will be great
