Spent 8 hours shooting the gala last evening and I'm paying the price today. A dozen trips up and down the stadium stairs at The Star took their toll. Great event, Children's Advocacy Center, people dedicated to dealing with and treating sexually abused children, an outstanding mission and a wonderful group of people. The gala was the first since the pandemic turned the world upside down and the crowd was intent on having a wonderful time and enjoying their freedom. I haven't heard the final numbers but I'd guess that they raise a million bucks last night. I spent a couple of hours in Jerry Jones' suite and then we all moved down on the field for the main event.
