Finally got a shot of Himalayan griffon vulture. Z9 with 600/4e FL + tC20e iii and heavy cropping a bit more than DX cropped.
Unfortunately there was so much heat distortion that if the vulture was not directly overhead, the pictures
were not really usable.
PS Himalayan griffon vulture has a wingspan as long as 3 meters. It is the second largest vulture in Asia . This one is easily more than twice as big as black kites that were flying around the same area to give you some idea of how far the vulture was.
