Beautiful shots, Lance.
Lately, especially while I used Z9 wiht 50/1.2 and other lenses for street and cityscape, looking at the raw file, I really think that the files looked quite different from Z7 ii, in favor of Z9 but I can't quite put my fingers on what it is exactly. Looking at first few shots from 50/1.2s really made me think that the rendering is quite what I usually get from Z7 ii with 50/1.2s even. May be it is just new toy syndrome or honeymoon period, perhaps. Just wonder if anyone else notice anything like this or am I just imagining things.
Of course may be it is just that Nikon revamp image engine in Expeed7 or may be there is something about the sensor, I don't really know.
PS I am not talking about resolution, noise, dynamic range, but I felt that when I went from D7100 to D810, overall tonality and rendering were quite similar. There was a big change in D500/D850 from D810. Z7/Z7ii aren't much different from D850 but now with Z9, look like there is another change here.
