Everyone seems not really care, are you all NPS? If not, say something.

This is exactly what will strike me when the 800pf became available. I am at the dealer's top 1 list but when NIKON begin taking NPS orders, will I get my 800pf first, or just to be pushed down for months due to NPS priority. How an honest dealer should be handling this?

Anyone here working in NIKON dealership, or those who claim knowing the NPS thing for decades, give me some idea. Why or why not.

I did call NIKON USA today, the receptionist couldn't help at all.

This forum thread is about the Z9 and it's availability, and is not about the availability of the Z 800 PF lens, nor a discussion about NPS. You have inserted your interest and demands in the middle of a thread and derailed the conversation instead of starting a thread where you could get input from those interested in what interests you. The number of respondents would vary depending on those even interested in your thread.

There is a mixture of members here that are NPS and those that are not NPS, just like the mixture of people here that use different camera platforms, different photo interests, etc.

This is not a forum that is monitored by Nikon nor responded to by Nikon. The internet is full of rumors, assumptions, and false claims. In order to bypass those issues, you should do some research of your own if you really want factual information. I was aware of the NPS program, but did research via Nikon sites to learn more about it.

The Nikon Z 800 PF lens *has not* been announced as being available for pre-order, but you found a dealer that is essentially taking a pre pre-order. Nikon will *most likely* prioritize NPS orders when the lens becomes available for pre-ordering similar to what is being done currently for the Z9 and the Z 100-400mm and Z 24-120 lens. This assumption is based on what I have seen done by Nikon most recently, but like life could easily change.

In your case, depending on Nikon's and the dealer's actions in the future, you would *most likely* be the first non-NPS person to get the lens available from that dealer that you pre pre-ordered from. No one has a crystal ball as to the number of NPS orders that the dealer will have that Nikon (*not the dealer*) will prioritize and send to the dealer with the NPS member's name on it, nor know the availability of numbers of the lens, or production rate, or what the world will be experiencing at that point in the future.
