I think that you will have the perfect two lens kit. In fact, I could imagine someone (say me ) owning a 24-70 (24-120), 100-400, and 500PF w/ a Z9 and not needing anything but a cheap back up camera. As a guy in my mid to late 50's, I could spend the rest of their life with this gear and be just fine... However, to be clear, I probably said the same thing about the D500/D850
I hope you get the Z9 soon,... really wish I had the $$ to get one of those as well.
