Another sunrise from Conowingo from last month, including the silhouette of an eagle that just caught a fish…
That's an awesome shot of the eagle in morning fog at Conowingo. Love the atmosphere. I need to go back in a cold/calm morning to get a shot like that. A few more shots from yesterday.
Thank you very much, Doug! That was from the 2nd morning, which was foggier and the sunrise was more intense than the 3rd morning when we walked down there together.
It looks like you got great shots from your last Conowingo visit. The eagles are more active and they do it closer to you, it seems. So, that place is still crowded, huh? Or it is even more crowded when I was there?
Hi Joshua, yes, the eagle activities seem to have picked up. Last Friday a few fishing episodes were fairly close. mostly it was the immature eagles that were putting up the shows. It usually gets more crowded after Thanksgiving, especially on weekends. I will head back there Monday or Tuesday next week, hopefully I will see more adult eagles fishing this time.

Ah, yes, timing is everything. I am sure that place is super packed on weekends by now. I am sure that your upcoming visit or visits will be more rewarding. But I would have been happy with those wonderful images that you have posted so far, Doug!
