Chasing the Colors in Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Hi everyone,

Hope your holiday last week was a good one, and if your palette is not too full of autumn I’d like to share another set of images, this time from Great Smoky Mountains NP. The challenge every time I go here is avoiding the throngs of people and cars, as you know if you’ve been especially in fall. I avoided the popular hiking trailheads that were overrun and the massive Cades Cove traffic jam, and instead explored roads and forests that are less popular. I enjoyed the challenge of finding gentle compositions in these amazing mountains away from the tourists and ended up with quite a bit of solitude during most of the shooting.

Thank you again for checking out the photography, I hope you enjoy the set!

All the best,
Ross
