The eye and animal autofocus was a game changer for me. I’ve only had the R5 about two months, and shot with my 5D4 a couple weeks back and even after that short period with the R5, transitioning back to the 5D4 was painful and it felt like each shot required much more though and tinkering with the autofocus points and camera to get right. I only use the mechanical shutter as 12 FPS is more than enough for me. I’m sure there are others who have used the R5 much more extensively than me that will shortly chime in, but that’s been mg experiences!
