Some shots from the hiking at Ricketts Glen State Park in Pa yesterday. Most of the leaves seemed to be changing from green to brown, very poor colors this year.
All shot with the A1 and the Sigma 24-74. I had the CV 15 and 21 with me but I don't have the vision to use anything wider than 24mm in this outing. I used a 6-stop ND+CPl filter for some of these, and a CPL on a 3-stop ND for the rest. I think the exposure time was too long sometimes. I didn't have time to fuss around changing filters.
Hi Douglas,
Very nice. Unfortunate to hear your report on the leaves changing at Ricketts Glen State Park from green to brown and a very poor year for color. But, that tends to be what I am seeing here to the east near Allentown with temperatures too warm and mild. We haven't had those cold evening temperatures and light freezes to kick start the bright, bold golds, oranges, and reds that we like. I will try to get out perhaps later today and over the weekend to some of our County Parks to see if there is any improvement since my last foray on October 15.
