Still trying to find a niche for me using the Z fc. So the goal was to only use that camera this weekend to decide if it is going to stay with me or move on to someone else.

There is one section of woods that I walk at least once a week and we have had a couple days of a good steady soaking rain. I have been waiting for a day like this with a wet understory and with overcast skies.

I decided on using the Micro-Nikkor 55mm/3.5 and was hoping for some mushrooms/fungi opportunities.

Posting a few with the dark tones of a wet forest bottom. Was very dark and I did not take a tripod, so had to shoot ISO6400. Shot with Vivid profile with modified sharpening, contrast and saturation settings in camera.

Most shots with using the flip out LCD screen. Still on the fence on that design. Really gets in the way of the camera straps when shooting low.

Thanks for looking.

George

WOW, the first on blew my mind. You always have a way with developing nice rich tones, wish I could do that. So, you're shooting jpegs with this camera?
