There seems to be a misunderstanding. I have not put anything personal in the room, just summarized statements that you have made here. It was an illustration of why nobody (or hardly anybody) can do anything with your statements. I still come to the same conclusion. For someone who heaves himself into the highest spheres, these were just too many statements that make no sense either way (to me).
This is not about my work. Or have I somewhere - in contrast to you - put my work in the foreground and then put strange (conspiracy) theories and (in my opinion) strange views on the uses and wastes of photographic equipment into the room (without any proof)? Again and again. If they make sense to you, it‘s fine with me.
Maybe we can get back to discuss the lens. I hope mine will arrive soon. As I stated, delivery time seems to have shortened. I might even travel to Georgia at the end of October. So this would come in handy.
P.S. In which edition(s) were your photos published?
P.P.S. Just to be clear. I see no obstacle in being a pro and using a 18-200. I brought it up because it was you who indicated (multiple times) that no pro would use this and that or do this and that. So better let people decide what‘s best for them.
