Couldn‘t agree more. Some weeks ago I was saying that I don’t need anything else besides my 4 lenses 20, 35, 55 and 85 1.8 as I appreciate their low weight as well as IQ. Actually I couldn’t imagine to use a lens that weighs more than 400g.
But during my last vacation I tried the Sigma 24-70 as zooming by feet to take pictures of kids didn‘t work well. What shall I say, it was so convenient and I didn’t care about the additional weight of this lens so that I‘m even thinking about buying this new 35-150 as 70mm were sometimes not enough. On the other hand I think I would miss the 24mm. We‘ll see .
People should stop complaining about lenses because of weight, speed, etc. and use just what fits to their needs and appreciate the number of lenses we have for Sony E Mount.
