I am going with the 100-400L Version 2. I know there are those will jump up and down and scream "70-200; 70-200" but I plow thru B&S everyday just to check prices for popular commonly used lenses and in my opinion the 100-400 2 is the winner.
I am not talking about collector lenses here e.g. the 50mm .09 (or whatever aperture it is). I am talking the lenses many of us have in our bags.
OK. Have at it.
