Looks like a better all-around product than the Tamron, but I do feel like the Sony 200-600 is still the lens to beat, like mentioned in SonyAlphaBlog's review. Not bad at all to see more competition out there though!
I do have to say that I'm a little bit surprised just how far this extends when fully zoomed out. I honestly figured this would have been no longer than the Sony 200-600 when fully extended, but I was off by a long shot. I can see that being a fairly unpopular downside to the Sigma offering.
