Ah, I remember you having DXO now was you mention it. For your situation I fear it may be too labour intensive to be generally useful. However, the noise reduction and ability to dig out the last bit of quality in old / compromised images may be good to have in the tool set. Kinda like grannies best china – used on special occasions, with great care and all due ceremony!
