Yes, it is looking more like a pro-model 7D II with a full frame sensor, allowing market room for the R7. At the rate Canon is dribbling specs on the R3, The R1 and R3 may come out at the same.
(I am sure Canon's production resources are strained. I went to get some paint for my porch and the Sherwin Williams dealer was so empty of paint it looked like the store was closing. He said they haven't had a sale all year because they have such a low supply of paint.)
Maybe I will rethink getting a second 7D !! as a backup, sell my 100-400 and 200 2.8 to add a used 200-400. After another year Canon may have the new products sorted out and in the stores.
