an integrated (monolithic) properly machined port will last as long without the need for a 2 part solution. a 2 part solution has a higher possibility for failure then the integrated. so a press fit can run into issues as will as a adhesive bonded one. now under the use in this situation it is almost irrelevant be cause as i said earlier if it gets to a failure mode in use its us we should be more concerned about. its less costly to drop them in then it is to machine them in.
