Thank you! I think 4 might be my favorite as well, but I'm also really partial towards the first one.
I agree with you about the pose in the 2nd one. If I'm to be honest I think that one shows some of his nerves coming to the surface and it kind of makes him look scared of the camera. I think I'm going to scrap that one.

Just a personal preference on the earring... he has a subtle, juvenile purity about him and the earring interrupts that feeling for me.

I guess "juvenile purity" is for sure a subjective term, as I've had my ears pierced since I was 10 and I don't think it ever affected my purity.
