Even a sequence where the thing landed straight at me and eventually overfilled the frame the A1 only missed a couple of the really close ones and yet still recovered after just 1 or 2 missed frames.

I really do wish this thread doesn't end up as another pure BIF thread. All respect to bird shooters but avians bore me.
I totally understand you but after all, smaller birds with erratic flight patterns will put A1's AF focus capabilities to the "real" test. Not +6' humans that are easier to predict their next move
