What I mean is that if you put the M mount version of this lens on a Sony, I don't think the color is magically going to look like the Leica.
Meaning that it's not solely the lens.
The samples you gave are 2 different lenses. Try an M mount CV 50/2 APO on a Sony and if it looks like it does on the Leica, then I think what you are saying is true.
