The Sony q&a with b&h said that only lenses with linear motors sorry e 30fps. It wouldn't make sense for them to vary the actual calculation rate

Even though we know there are many lenses on the 30FPS list that don't have linear motors (like the 200-600). Does anyone know the source of that information about the 120AF/s and linear motors?
Probably doesn't matter as Mark Galer has shown the 200-600 can track some super fast dogs but I'm still curious who said the linear motor thing??
