This Sony lens is great for some aspects like resolution, dimensions, weight af performances etc. , I don’t know yet.
But for some others like CA, FB, vignetting and bokeh/rendering is nothing more than ordinary to my eyes. Possibly once I make use of it I will change my opinion but at the moment unfortunately it is not so.
It's OK for you to Like your Sigma. It's a nice lens. But from what I have seen the Sony matches it in a smaller package. Doesn't make your Sigma any worse. Just enjoy it if you don't mind the extra size and weight. No need to defend you purchase to anyone here
