I really like the Washington monument shot. Has the fencing around the capital been taken down or were you on the inside of it for that shot?

I would love to go back up there for a good day of shooting. Has been quite a while since we have been there. In the late 90s, I lived in Leesburg and would drive in to catch the Metro to downtown DC where I worked on K street.

Thanks, George.

My last visit was on January 2019 and there was no fencing around the fountain or Capitol. There are only gates on both ends of the Capitol Building which were open to the public and was able to take close up photos.

I wold love to visit in the spring and catch the cherry blossoms. It would be fun to photograph that color explosion.
