I took a short hike Thursday evening with my son, and we slung a hammock between a couple of trees at this overlook and waited for the stars to come out.
The small peninsula to center left is the home of the Shrine of St. Therese. I'm not a religious person, but it certainly is a gorgeous location and the grounds and gardens are a pleasant spot to while away a couple of hours on a weekend.
