Today I played with my (new ) ZF.2 135/2 Apo Sonnar and the Canon 500D close-up lens.
I compared the results to my 100/2 Makro-Planar.
As you can see in the images below, at the minimum focus distance the 135+500D combo allows getting a magnification slightly larger than 1:2 (the magnification of the picture taken with the Makro-Planar was 1:2).
The first two pictures posted here were taken @ f/11.
I took pictures at f/2 and f/5.6 too.
The Makro-Planar is always better, however the 135+500D combo is usable, for sure; at f/11 it's very good.
