7D Mark III will never be released as Canon's direction 2021-onwards is mirrorless.

The $1,199 90D, that is somewhat indirect "upgrade" to the 7D Mark II, that was released last year will be good until 2025.

You will need to buy a UHS-II SD card as it does not use CF cards.

After 2025 I do not expect canon to produce anymore dSLRs.
