So for a while now I've been a little afraid to use the electronic shutter with the a7r4 and 200-600 for moving objects. I think my fear was overblown. I used it a bunch last week and with moving objects it was no issue. In fact, I think the AF was better than it is with the mechanical shutter. I could be wrong. But with jumping dolphins, it's a bit luck to pretty much point and shoot and hope that the AF works. It seemed to work more often than not.
