I'm a little envy, this guy have good connections or have real deep pocket like the Pixii digital Rangefinder camera he's the very few that got a hand on the new Zeiss, although his review is quite shallow

Interesting video. Thanks for posting. A different walk-through approach via live monitor which I liked.

Notice the age of the reviewer? I think this is important as this technology will resonate with younger generations, it's what they know already for some years now..so why wouldn't it be on their advanced cameras too? At $6K not sure many "younger generations" will be carrying the ZX1 around in their backpacks, but maybe if this concept trickles down into one of the more affordable mirrorless platforms more people will have access IF the smart phone cameras don't get there first with larger and multiple sensors as we are already starting to see with e.g., the iPhone 12Pro Max now with 5G too (*5G not to be confused with 5GHz wifi)

Interesting comments:

"the first thing that anybody has said that I've shown this camera...oh that's the future" "...it's almost so obvious that it's shocking that Zeiss is the only one to embrace this approach so far" "might have been a runaway success if it was more like 3500 or $3000" "overall in practice, I've really found this [ZX1] to be a really seamless, comfortable, intuitive experience"

* Reviewer said he purchased the ZX1 with his own money.
