I had contacted MemoryC to complain about my card being too slow to write and they have agreed to replace it. Got a positive response in less than 2 hours, so their customer service is pretty good!
I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and returns are super-easy, but I bought the Transcend card from MemoryC.com because they had the best price.

I don't know about the Transcend cards. I have the 256GB CFExpress and it was sloooow to write to the card in spite of the claimed write speed of 1300MB/s. I think it's no better than a fast SD card.

My Transcend 256 is my main card. Don't know how fast they are writing but I also own the fastest SD UHS-II cards money can by and it is certainly a deeper buffer and much faster for the red write light to go out on the Transcend CFe.
The buffer on mine is about 100 shots to slow down and clears within a few seconds even if you hit the limit. Dud card I'd say.
Yeah, if my card was doing that it would have gone straight back to Amazon. I almost returned it anyways in favour of a 128GB Delkin (which fully supports all video modes) but I got such a deal (mis-priced when first released on Amazon Canada) on the Transcend it was twice the capacity and less cost than the Delkin.
