Thank you Jim, Besar, Douglas and therealthings! Sadly, most of the snow is gone already due to rain and wind. Typical early winter weather nowadays.

Helena -- Beautiful shots with your new CV 75!
I can see what you mean about it having a much different rendering than the 7A 75. But some of my favorite shots from you have been with the CV 40/1.2, so perhaps this new CV 75 will be a good companion on those days you like the 40? Maybe you are inclined to a bright/sunny set, and an overcast/dreamy set of lenses? Either way, your shots are always wonderful to see.

Beautiful as always! Thank you for the kind words. I generally prefer lenses with a more gentle rendering. CV 75 is a bit too contrasty and like I mentioned before it has deeper DoF and less smooth background blur than 7Artisans 75/1.25. It's easier to focus though, nearly half the weight and much more flare resistant, so I think there's room for both. CV 40/1.2 is nice, but now when I'm in this 75mm phase I prefer to bring my old CV 35/1.7 instead since it's smaller and can share the M adapter.
Some more from the CV 75mm, all at f/1.5:
