I like the camo on the outside and the felt coat to minimize flare on the inside he included is great. And for a minimal cost, he did include a lens cap.
The friction method to hold the lens hood over the lens works 95% of the time for me. One drawback I notice when I was shooting at temperatures over 100F degrees. The material used expanded at a greater rate than the diameter of the lens under those conditions. So, the hood became loose and could fall off the lens. Now, that I am aware of that, I would be take the necessary steps when shooting under those conditions again.
